Eddy Covariance Measurements

Following SpecNet objectives, Biospec aims to improve our understanding of controls on the biosphere-atmosphere exchange of carbon and water vapor fluxes by combining flux towers and scale-appropriate remote sensing measurements. This challenge requires multi-scale analyses of spectral signals and optical-flux relationships, as well as comparative analyses of optical-flux relationships across ecosystems. For that purpose, the project will benefit from 2 flux-tower sites operated by CEAM. These sites are performing eddy covariance fluxes and ancillary measurements following the standards and procedures defined by the national or world-wide flux station networks in which they are included (CARBORED-ES, CARBOEUROPE-IP, FLUXNET).
